(This one is dedicated to Fetch, Chewbacca, 80's era Testament, Jimi Hendrix, and all Magic School Bus fans everywhere.)
Jon and Karyn looked around the classroom to take in their new surroundings. The general layout of the room was the same, but the once dull looking walls were now chaotically covered with colorful posters detailing scientific processes like digestion or the water cycle, and varous objects that Jon could only describe as doo-dads and whatcha-ma-gigs were scattered about the entire area.
"What happened to this place," asked Karyn, "it looks like one of those restaurants that have all kinds of weird crap hanging on the walls to give it atmosphere."
"You wished that Mrs. Raiford taught her lessons more like Mrs. Frizzle. So I can only assume that we have an impromptu field trip coming up, you know the kind that involve us shrinking or turning into animals and yet they don't require a permission slip from your parents," said Jon.
"Good morning class!"
"Oh Shit," whispered Karyn.
"Hello Mrs. Raiford!," replied the class in unison.
Mrs. Raiford cheerfully walked into class. She didn't look too different than before, but Jon and Karyn were shocked when they first layed eyes on her.
Karyn leaned over to Jon and whispered, "She's walking on the fucking ceiling with suction cup shoes!"
"Well, you wanted an exciting science class," Jon replied. Karyn sensed that Jon seemed to be enjoying this alot more than she was.
Mrs. Raiford dropped down from the ceiling, landing on her hands, and then kicked off the "suction cup shoes", which landed perfectly onto a nearby shelf.
Mrs. Raiford jumped back onto her feet and then took out some papers from her briefcase.
"I hope your ready for some excitement because today we will be learning about......"
