When Lauren could see everything again, she realized everything was different somehow. For instance she was lying on the ground, looking up the ceiling but it looked different. Not that it was further away or was painted in purple or green but the colors seemed less vivid. And then her body felt different as well. Her body felt thicker, her face felt different and not to mention her legs were cold? Lauren pulled herself up, noticing the weight in front but before she could think it through, she saw something that got her almost a heart attack. In front of her, her body was lying on the ground.
Lauren wasn't sure what this was, was she experiencing some out of body experience? While thinking about it she was surprised to see her body suddenly pulling itself up as well. It looked at her and it grew paler by the second.
"Why, why am I over there?" It asked her pointing at Lauren when it suddenly noticed it's hand. Her body looked itself over. And then something about this seemed familiar, like when she watched those freaky friday movies. Lauren looked down and saw to her surprise she wasn't wearing her old clothes. She instead was wearing a dark blue button down which pushed her chest out more than usual and a black pencil skirt and on her feet were a pair of black heels.
Lauren suddenly got a bad feeling. "Ms. Tran?" She asked at her former body noticing how her voice sounded different as well.
"Lauren? Is that you in my body?" Ms. Tran asked in her former student's body. Lauren nodded as she felt her long black hair following it's movement.
Both women stood up. Lauren felt rather uncomfortable standing there in a skirt and heels. Lonna on the other hand liked the fact that she could wear jeans and sneakers.
"Let's go to the bathroom." Lonna said grabbing Lauren's hand as they hurried to the women's bathroom. Lauren had difficulty keeping up wearing heels but they made it.
"This is different." Lonna said as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. Instead of the Asian women she now saw a teenage girl standing in it's place.
"What are we going to do?" Lauren asked as she looked at her reflection reflecting her Chemistry teacher's body.
"For now I'm afraid I don't know, Lauren. This is not something that we can solve by using science. I guess that leaves us with no option than pretending to be each other."
"What? No way! I can't teach Chemistry, I hate it." Lauren screamed. She quickly put her hands in front of her mouth surprised by the volume her voice now brought.
"Lauren. Look at me." Lonna said looking upwards to her body. "You can do this. I know you can. The reason you get low grades in Chemistry is only because you don't explain everything what you're writing. I have seen the potential, you just need to show it."
"You think so? Okay, I'll do it." Lauren said feeling a little more confident. "Oh and make sure to take care of Jake for me.He's my boyfriend." Lauren explained.
"I will, now hurry up. I need to get to your last class and you need to give my last class. We'll meet up in my, or your classroom. Now go." Lonna told Lauren as both hurried off.
