Jon sat helplessly on the counter while he listened to the television set blaring in the next room. He could feel his body slowly expand as the minutes turned into hours. His point of view slowly changed from simply being able to look up to being able to see the kitchen in its entirety as he rose up high enough to peek over the ceramic container.
"This is unbearable," thought Jon. "It's like waiting for my own execution. For all I know I'm about to experience a new level of pain and no one can help me besides my dipshit sister who is responsible for all of this in the first place. God I wish that Karyn was here, but she doesn't even remember me now thanks to the stone altering reality. If she saw me now she would probably ask Becky when she thinks I'll be done baking so she can have a piece."
Suddenly, Jon heard the television set turn off and a few seconds later Becky strolled into the kitchen.
"Wow Jon, you've grown. Look who's a big boy now." Becky walked over to the oven, opened it and checked the temperature.
"The ovens ready, Jon, you know what that means," chirped Becky with a giddy expression on her face. "It's your big moment."
Becky picked up Jon and moved him to the oven. He could feel the intense heat before he was even placed on the oven rack.
"See you in a little while," said Becky as she closed the oven door on Jon, leaving him to bake.
