Jon cringed at this turn of events. Now that Karyn was in on making his life miserable, his only hope for minimizing the damage was worse than gone.
And worse, Karyn and Jon shared several humiliating secrets between them that Jon now feared would come out. The sparkle in Karyn's eye did nothing to comfort him. "Karyn, please..." he whimpered in his little 5-year old voice.
"Oh, wait Karyn, you didn't hear the last wish I made." Jon breathed a short-lived sigh of relief as Becky continued. "Just say, 'Jon put on...' and whatever you want him to be wearing and it'll appear on him."
Karyn looked thoughtful for a minute and then said, "No, let me make a wish, I have an idea that I think you'll like!"
Becky handed her the stone and Jon saw his life flash before his eyes...
