"Jon ... Jen, if you want to stay Jen," said Zoe. "You know I've been interested in the occult for a while. I think I might know what's going on. Maybe the stone is losing its power."
"Losing its power?"
"Yeah. Maybe it's been used for too many wishes. And now after all this time, the stone is malfunctioning."
"Maybe that's why it granted that one wish to make you into a tomboy."
"I told you, I've always been like this. Well ... at least I THINK I've always been like this. Did you actually WANT me to be a tomboy?"
"Well, no. That's my point. The stone flashed in the middle of my sentence. It didn't let me finish my wish."
"Well, that's not good. Maybe no one should use it anymore. You know, since it's unpredictable."
"That's probably a good idea. But who could resist even the small chance of having your wish granted?"
"You could keep it safe. Keep it away until we figure out how to fix it."
