"So how was your day?" Karyn asked as I approached her. She waits for me by the main gates at the end of every school day. Today was no different.

I motioned to her to walk with me, I don't like standing still near the gates, should the kids more depserate to leave school than I am decide to knock me over. It's happened more than once before...

"Have you seen Tom lately? He wasn't in Chemistry," I stated, bluntly. I was looking forward to finding out what he most desired, especially after Steve's less-than-good intentions. I wanted to grant a wish I knew was good...

"I think he's at home in bed. A cold or soemthing," she said, before adding, "Why?"

"Oh, no reason." Shit. "I have an idea of what to do with the rock," I said as Karyn stepped into a common pace by his side, "but we can't really talk here. How about you? Did your new look get you into trouble?"

"Oh, not really. Some girls complemented me on my hair, they think I just dyed it. The guys like my new and improved rack. I think the most of girls are in denial about that right now. People assume I had a growth spurt, or a special bra, or something like that. People are great at creating rational explanations," she added a giggle.

"No trouble then. Good."

"Well, Sarah McMillan made her thoughts known, as usual," Karyn added after a pause.

"With her usual back-up?" I asked.

Sarah's 'yes-girls' are a source of many of Karyn and my jokes. Beth'ney Brook and Sylvia Richards, probably the closest thing Sarah has to friends. Beth'ney (short for Elisabeth-Courtney) is a blonde (not a natural blonde, mind you) with a butt complex. Sylvia is tall (taller than me, even), athletic and flat as a very flat board. They follow Sarah around liek her biggest fans, the three of them are in all the same classes, not to mention the cheerleader squad. Twenty snooty girls and not a personality between them.

"Almost," she replied. "Beth'ney and Sylvia, as usual. Did you know Lucy Wrangler has started hanging out with them too?"

"Steve neglected to mention that. Doesn't Lucy attend all the same classes as the terrible trio?" I inquired. I didn't mean to say 'terrible trio', I just couldn't think of anything better in the moment.

"Yes, I believe she does. She'll be buying a cheerleader outfit next, I bet," giggled Karyn. I laughed with her. We walked on for a few minutes before Karyn asked, "Can I ask a big favour of you?"

"I guess... does it involve a certain piece of rock?"

"Yeah," she laughed, "yeah, it does... It's silly really."

"What is?"

"The wish I want to make. I just thought... it'd save money on new clothes if I could wish all my old ones fit my new cup size, is all." Karyn saw the look on my face and smiled her mischevious smile. I must have blushed, despite myself.

"Er... yeah, I don't see why not," I said, hiding my relief. Thanks Karyn, for a wish which I know is good! "Just sort out the exact wording of your wish before you wish for it. Wishes can't be undone, so it's gotta be perfect," I added, solemly.

"Oh, thankyou!" Karyn gave me a hug. I've been hugged by Karyn before, but this felt much closer, softer. I guess her new breasts made hugging her a new experience. The hug was over in an instant, but I decided then and there to start hugging Karyn more often. "It'll be a great help," she smiled again. A smile I've never seen before.

It only takes five minutes to walk home from school. It takes Mikey 45 minutes to get home from his school, on a bus from the other end of town. My mum doesn't get back from work until after 5pm. Karyn and I had the whole house to ourselves. I poured us both a drink of cola while I told her about my idea to use the rock to help people, make the world a better place.

"I wouldn't expect any less from you, Jon," she said.

I smiled and handed her a glass as I then told her about my plan to get the ball rolling, by asking my friends and family. She took a sip and said, "That's nice of you. Who's first?"

I pointed out that she was and had already been first. She smiled and looked into her drink. Or maybe her bosom, I don't know.

I sat down on my bed and recounted my conversation with Steve.

"Ooh, revenge!" she said with glee.

"Yes... I don't know what I should do..."

"You want to make Steve's life happier, right?" Karyn's dislike of Sarah and her bratpack was so obvious she might as well have worn a t-shirt declaring the fact. 'Bratpack' is way better than the 'terrible trio', why couldn't I say that??

"Yes, I do.. but I don't know if revenge will make the world a nicer place. I want to make Steve happier, I do... but then what if other people ask for theirt own petty vengence - people I don't know, I mean. How could I justifiably say 'no' to their wishes?"

"I see your point, but I think you're underestimating basic human nature. If you make it obvious to people that the wishes are PERMANENT, I bet they'd change their mind and ask for something else!"

"Yeah, I guess you're right. But what should I do about Steve?"

"I think you should go through with the wish!"

"Karyn..."

"Hear me out! You should go through with it, but put some time limit into the wish, so it'll wear off after a while."

"Good idea! I like that idea, it makes wishmaking less hazardous."

"Though Lucy deserves everything she gets, if you ask me."

"I suppose Harris and Lucy deserve to learn their lesson, at least... and it's not permanent, so there should be no lasting harm..."

"Atta boy! What say we throw Sarah, Sylvia and Beth'ney in too?"

I ignored her, instead fumbling through my rucksack. "I still haven't looked at the paper Steve gave me. Ah, here it is," I said as I pulled out the sheet of lined paper, folded into quarters.

I placed it on the table, when Karyn snatched it up and eagerly unfolded it. We stared at it for a long while, before I broke the silence, "He's drawn it! He's only gone and illustrated his revenge!"

"And given lengthy notes for the parts he can't draw," added Karyn, as surprised as I was. Steve could be quite scary, when he was angry. This paper had some serious anger all over it.

"So let me get this straight," Karyn said, as she read and re-read the notes, "What Steve wants to happen to those two, is....
