Jon's mother tossed the rock back and forth in her hands as she thought about the outfit that her son was now wearing. She really wanted to know what was going on but she knew Jon would not tell her.
"I wish I knew what Jon was up to", she spoke aloud.
In an instant, she knew all about the rock's powers and Jon's plan to wish away her memory of the incident. She did not like the idea of her son manipulating her memory, not at all.
"Well, let's see how he likes a little manipulation. I wish that Jon's body, from the neck down, were more suited to the clothes he is now wearing, until Sunday night at midnight, at which time he will change back to himself again and that all his clothes were very feminine. I wish that until that time Jon cannot wear any male clothing at all because it causes a nasty rash. I wish that any wishes I make on this rock can be undone by saying my Mother's maiden name."
She smiled to herself as she heard the front door slam and Jon yell "Mother!!!" She quickly made a wish as she heard Jon running up the stairs.
"I wish that until Sunday at midnight, I can make wishes without the rock and at that time, everything I wished about would return to normal."
She placed the rock back on Jon's dresser just as he, or almost a he, intered the room, carrying a bag of groceries.
"Mother, what did you do to me," Jon asked.
