Karen spent most of the day trying to figure out how to fix things, but her brain just wasn't working right. She kept seeing Jon in her mind kissing Steve and she was unable to think of anything. It was after last period when Karen was standing out front of the school, waiting for Jon, when she remembered that Steve had asked Jon to watch him practice. So karen went to the feild to see if she could fix Jon before anything innaproproate happened.
But when she got there, Jon wasn't in the stand watching Steve practice at all, and she couldn't find him. Karen started to think that maybe Jon had gone home and Karen was very worried she sat down and dug the stone out of her purse.
"I wish, that I had a map that would show where Jon was on it at all times, no matter what his state was at the time." Her purse let off a faint glow for a moment, and Karen opened it again to find the map she had just wished for. She looked down at it, and saw that it showed the School, and it had his name marked on a portion of the football field. It took Karen a moment or two to realize that it was the section of the field that the Cheerleaders were using to practice.
Karen tuffed the map and stone back into her purse and ran off down toward the cheerleaders, and sure enough, amounst the girls, was the attractive girl, Jon had become.
"Jennifer!" Karen called out catching Jon's eye with a wide frantic wave, "C'mere!" Jessica wispered something to the girls and then skipped over to where Karen was standing.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Karen demanded.
"What?" Jessica said, scandalized.
"Why are you on the field with them?" Karen asked with an evil point toward the cheerleaders.
"Karen, They asked me to join, what was I going to say?" Jessica said like it was the only logical conclusion. "Look, I'd really like to chat, but I have alot of cheers to learn before Steve takes me out later..."
"Jon!" Karen spat.
"Hey, It's Jessica, now, OK?" Jon said threatningly "And, hey... you think I could have my rock back... I might need it later..."
"Uh..." Karen knew it would be unwise to give her the stone, especially in the state he was in. "I left it in my locker... Look, I'll catch up with you later, OK?" Karen suggested.
"Sure, sure." Jessica said. "hey, if you want, I could put a word in for you... maybe get you on the squad too..." She suggested.
"Uh, I'll think about it." Karen said walking away in defeat, she had to do something, but what.
