Thankfully the day as painful as it was, was manageable and it was finally time for lunch.
Jenni had scored some passes to the Library for Lunch so that they could work on a project for class, but really so that they could get to a quiet place to talk.
"Joni, you are doing great. I know this is weird for you getting used to your new life with little experience. I have been thinking of some ways we can carefully word a wish to bring you up to speed in this new life," Jenni said as she slid her notebook to Jon
"Jenni, I am just," Jon started but was interrupted.
"Not sure you can live this life. I know, I have felt that from you all day and I am sure you have felt me cringe at that thought. I am linked to you now because of that wish, and I accept our new fate. We have great lives now, so maybe before you decide to do something stupid, you let me find a way, like this," Jenni replied as she pointed at a particular wish in her notebook.
Without the stone in hand, Jon read it 'I wish that for the next 24 hours starting from the time I make this wish, I would remember my life as always being Joni as I am now, the identical twin sister of Jenni. I will remember all of my life events being Joni from my childhood to today, including all of the biggest milestones in my life as Joni. Furthermore, for this time period, I will act as I if I always was Joni and have no memory of any other prior life. At the end of this time period, I will be presented with an option to either accept this new life and memories, or return to my previous memories of my prior life as I was before I made this wish.'
"Jenni, I owe you this much, so yes, let's do this wish, but when?" Jon asked.
