Jon looked at his new playmate body. "Change me back, Karyn!" he squeaked out.
"Don't worry, I'm just trying it out," Karyn replied. Tapping a few buttons, Jon was soon back to normal. Holding the rock, she said "I wish we were back at Jon's house, in his bedroom." In an instant, they were standing in Jon's room.
"Why'd you bring us here, Karyn?"
"Because I want to try this remote a bit more. Is anyone else here?"
"No, mom's out until 4, Zoe's at the mall."
"Good, come with me," she said, leading him to the living room, and leaving the rock on his dresser.
"What's going on Karyn, what crazy scheme have you thought up this time?"
"Alright, Jon, here's what I'm thinking: this is a remote, so it should work on the television, too. I want to try it out on your TV."
"Wait, Karyn. You used it first, let me try."
"Okay, here." She handed him the remote. Jon looked it over carefully. Then he pointed the remote at Karyn and pressed the "INSERT" button. He was a bit surprised when she just disappeared.
"Karyn? Where'd you go?" he said aloud, but there was no response. Fighting panic, he turned on the TV, and Karyn was right there in the show! It was an episode of Ally McBeal. Not only had Karyn taken the place of Ally, but she was acting just like the character. Jon changed the channel, and now Karyn was a figure skater. Another channel, she was a boxer, fighting Mike Tyson! Nobody in the program seemed to notice that Karyn had taken the fighter's place! Looking at the remote, he spotted the "Return" key, and when he pressed it, Karyn was back standing where she had been in the living room, but she was still dressed like a boxer.
"What happened?" she asked, looking at her outfit.
"You don't remember?" Jon asked her. "I used the remote, and you went into the T.V."
Karyn blinked a couple of times in disbelief, then swiped the remote from Jon's hand. "Okay, let's see how you like it." she pressed the "INSERT" button with the remote pointed at Jon. He simply disappeared. Karyn looked at the screen, and Jon was...
