Jon stared at himself in the mirror. Why hadn't he changed? "Damn!" he spit out. "How does this thing work? It needs a manual," he decided. He grabbed up the rock and wished for one, and sat down to read.
Soon, he found what he was looking for, but wasn't happy with what it told him:
"This unit has limited storage capabilties. Therefore, using the ORIG key to restore a subject to its original configuration will result in all other configurations for that subject being erased from the storage buffer. You will not be able to recall any of these configurations."
"Erased!" Jon cried out. "I've erased Karyn!"
