When they got to the mall, Karyn concentrated on the fourth choice, the one that made people think that she was Sarah.
"Sarah! What are you doing here?" Jon suddenly said.
"Huh?"
"Where did Karyn go?" Jon demanded.
"What are you talking about, dweeb? How should I know where that little tart friend of yours is?" Karyn, as Sarah, was so completely in character as Sarah because even SHE was treating herself like Sarah!
Jon started to panic. He knew he had come here with Karyn and that she was going to pretend to be Sarah, but suddenly it was not only such a good idea, but he had no idea where she ran off to when the real Sarah showed up.
"Karyn!" he called out and then started moving away from Karyn, who he thought was actually Sarah.
Karyn, meanwhile, decided to head to the food court. She was hungry after all and that's where she was headed when that little doorstop accosted her. Something was nagging at the back of her mind, but it could wait.
