"Oh my god, Jon!" Karyn yelled out, in shock. "What have you done?"
Keifer was definitely hurt, physically as well as emotionally. He just got beat up by a geek! He was bleeding, bruised, and totally humiliated.
"Get out of here!" Jon yelled at him and Keifer got up and ran away. Jon turned around and smiled at Karyn. "Don't worry, Karyn. He won't bother you again. I'll make sure of it."
Karyn was more frightened by Jon's actions than pleased by them. Despite him being more romantic, she wasn't sure she liked this "new" Jon.
