Karyn yiped! as I started to change. "Jon, what are you doing?"

Becoming a car was a very strange thing! I felt my hooves swell and swirl into new shapes while I sank closer to the ground. My flesh lost its flexibility and softness, becoming hard and metallic. My senses changed, too. I lost my sense of smell and touch and taste for the most part, but became hyper-aware of how my weight rested on my tires, and the lack of traction the floor of the stable gave me. Fortunately, I wanted to retain my sense of sight and sound, so I did, as I became a large navy blue Cadillac convertible. I tried to speak and heard my voice come out through the radio speakers. "What does it look like?"

Karyn rested a hand on my hood, and I could just barely feel it. "You... you okay?"

I thought about it. "Sure. How do I look?"

"Big!" She giggled a little. "This is definitely weird! Hmmm. How about something smaller?"

It must have been her wish about me not being things she didn't want, because suddenly I did want to be smaller. I tried to resist it. "Karyn, I -"

"How about a bright red Miata?"

Well... that was okay, I guess. In the course of a few seconds I felt myself shrinking, losing weight as I turned into the smaller red convertible with leather seats.

"Wow, that's neat." Karyn pulled open my door and slid into the drivers seat. It was a very odd feeling having her in me, as opposed to sitting on me when I had been a horse. She ran her hands over my steering wheel -- I felt my wheels turn as she tried it. "Dad never would buy me one of these," she commented and rested her foot on my gas pedal automatically, and placed her hand on my gear shift. It was a very odd feeling, but I suddenly wanted to go somewhere -- I guess it was part of being a car! Without conscious thought, I felt the key in my ignition turn, and my engine rumbled to life eagerly. Karyn giggled.

"Might as well give it a spin," I said, trying not to sound defensive or embarassed from my speakers.

Karyn patted my dashboard. "You mean, give you a spin!" She laughed and pulled my seatbelt on over herself, them looked startled as I snugged her tight to my leather seats, feeling myself adjust to her body. "Oh, wow -- this is the most comfortable car I've been in. Rather, you are." She grinned again and put me into gear -- with a rumble of enthusiasm, I accelerated out of the stable and onto the dirt road, feeling carefully how much traction my tires had.
