With a faint grumble I decided I would just go along with Karyn for now. She was obviously having too much fun with this to be easily dissuaded, and I wasn't exactly having a bad time. Despite the guilt I felt, it was kind of nice to be seeing so much of her, so to speak. I guess if she could thikn of me as a pet, I could think of her as an attractive girl!
I pondered, then purrred and butted my head against her head for more scritching. I would just act the part of the pet until she got bored with it. I let her scratch my head and ears some more, then licked her hand and started grooming myself.
"Jon!" Karyn sputtered, looking faintly red as I started grooming certain parts. It took all my effort to just look at her with that typical feline look of indifference and go back to using my tongue to clean myself. It was worth it to listen to her sputter and turn even redder. "Darn cats!"
I just purrred at her and stood back up when I was done. Padding over I rubbed up against her legs and rubbed my face against her to mark her with my scent. The feline instincts were stronger now that I was following them.
"Jon?" Karyn asked uncertainly. "Are you... still in there?"
I waffled a moment, then grinned up at her. "Me-ow?" I said, not meowed.
"Oh, you!" Karyn rolled her eyes. "If that's the way you want to play it, kitten..."
