Jon felt his fur retract into his body and slowly he stood back on two legs for the first time in weeks.
"You okay?" asked Anne with concern.
Jon took a deep breath and looked crossly at the keeper. He felt the anger well up inside and then he snatched the rock from her hand. "Hey!" she yelled, "What do you think you're doing?"
"The rock was mine in the first place, lady," he snapped in anger. "And thanks to you I spent the last few weeks nursing kittens!"
"Hey!" she yelled back, "It wasn't my fault that you were stuck in that form! You wished yourselves into them!"
Jon slapped his hand against the sign that had been over his enclosure. "And you can't tell me that you didn't have a hand in that?" Anne worked her mouth a moment, but said nothing.
Still steamed, Jon grumbled, "I should teach you a lesson."
Anne blanched, and Karyn tried to intercede. "Jon, don't do something when you're mad, you might regret it."
"I don't think so," he said evenly, then looked at the zookeeper, "You love your precious kittens so much, I wish you were a champion captive female breeding leopard, who will be producing litters until I decide to change you back!" Anne opened her mouth to protest, but never said a word before she vanished.
"Jon!" Screamed Karyn, "how could you do that?"
He turned on his freind, still with an angry glint. "You're in the doghouse yourself, Karyn," he said dangerously. "You got me stuck in this zoo in the first place."
Karyn started to back off, "Jon, what are you doing? Don't do something stupid."
His anger boiled over. "Maybe I should teach you a lesson, too."
