While Jonni was trying not to feel TOO at home in the leopard enclosure (and generally failing), Anne was sitting in her office, staring at the stone thoughtfully. The amount of power it apparently represented was staggering, and more than a bit frightening. The things he could do with it But still, as the previous owners had demonstrated, it could be dangerous .
For a moment she felt a pang of guilt about what she'd done to Jonni. But she tried to sooth herself about it. Sure, it wasn't very nice.. But it had been their own wishes that got them into that situation. And she'd done what she could to help them out a bit. At least one of them was back to normal, and Jonni seemed to be adapting to her current life in the enclosure relatively well. And she was a very big attraction for the park
And Karyn was making an excellent zoo keeper in the meantime. Apparently she really DID like animals, and was fitting into the zoo quite well. She was especially good with taking care of Jonni, which shouldn't be too surprising given their relationship she supposed. She wondered what would happen when Jonni was finally past the point when she was considered a "mother" by the wish?
In any case, Anne had a lot of decisions to make. And one of her first ones was not to use the stone to make any really BIG wishes. At least not at first anyway. Especially with their irreversibility. Best to start small, no matter how tempting it would be to use wish the zoo was the biggest in the world, or something like that.
Hmmmm. . What to do, what to do? Maybe I should wish for some more money? Or to clean the zoo up? Or maybe just something for myself? Or perhaps I should try to help Jonni and Karyn a bit more first? Anne continued to stare at the stone, deep in thought.
