It didn't just happen once, it happened several times before my heat ended. And yes, I have to admit by the end of it I was acting more like a leopardess in heat than me... and I was enjoying it. It was a heck of a way to have sex for the first time, and the most intense experience of my life so far. By the time I was able to think again coherently, I was being separated from the male leopard by the zoo handlers, who got him into a mobile cage and wheeled him off. I found I was grooming myself (ick!) without thinking when there was a loud pop and gasp from the room.
"Oh Jon! I'm so sorry!" Karyn was swaying in the middle of the room, just barely keeping on her feet. I started to growl at her, then paused. She didn't look well. She looked awfully disoriented and pale. And she still had the rock in her hand. "I... I had to watch, Jon. I was up there..." She waved a hand towards the ceiling. "I didn't have a body, I couldn't feel anything or do anything but watch you, for hours." She shivered, eyes wide. "I couldn't even scream for help, though I tried!"
I growled and lashed my tail, but despite my anger I was starting to get worried. Whatever had happened to Jaryn had obviously shaken her badly. While I had not wanted to be... bred, I had to admit it had not been that unpleasant, over all. Whatever Karyn had suffered, though... I whined at her, hoping she would make a wish to get us both out of here before something else happened.
Karyn seemed to get the hint and looked at me, then the stone in her hand. "I should do something... yes. Yes. I should. I wish... I wish Jon wouldn't get pregnant from... from that leopard."
Nothing happened. "Oh, no!" Karyn seemed to wilt, collapsing slowly to her knees. "When I said I wanted to see you going to be a mother, it must mean you're going to be a mother, and I can't stop it!"
I shivered and snarled, pacing in my cage. Well, this was great! I wondered how long it took for a leopard to give birth! I batted at the cage door with my paw, hoping that Karyn would get the hint and let me out.
Unfortunately, Karyn seemed to be too shocked to think straight. "I'm so sorry, Jon -- I just meant to tease you a little, I didn't mean for this to happen. It's all my fault!" She sobbed. "And you can't even tell me if you're okay! I wish..."
