I sighed and shook my head a bit, trying to clear my mind.

"Something wrong, Jonni?" Karyn asked, grinning a bit.

"Um.. No.. Nothing really. Everything's fine. Or as fine as it can be for the moment " I said, trailing off a bit, tail swishing anxiously.

Karyn surprised me bu giving me a light one armed hug and patting my back. "There, there. Well, get this all fixed up soon. Tomorrow probably, when we have a chance to think everything through. In the mean time, might as well just sit back and go along for the ride " she said with a shrug.

"Hmph.. Easy for YOU to say With a chest like that, I think you came out ahead in the accidental wishes department " I said. I blinked almost as soon as the words were out of my mouth. "Ummmm.. What I meant was " I said, turning a bit red.

Karyn just stood next to me, hand over her mouth, trying not to giggle too hard. "Heh heh heh Don't tell me your JEALOUS Jonni!" Karyn giggled.

"No! Of course not!" I said, turning red. "Gah.. It's just.. all these things are weirding me out a bit I guess. We've really got to fix it up soon." I said seriously. Karyn didn't reply, still trying to choke back giggles. "Well atleast ONE of us is enjoying this!" I said, a bit annoyed.

"Hey, it's not my fault I look so good now. And I kind of like it. Besides, you make a pretty cute girl yourself Jonni " Karyn replied, still giggling. I just gave her a dirty look, tail swishing anxiously, feeling rather strange.

"Okay you two! We're back!" Zach said as he and mark hopped down the stairs with their books.

"Ah, good!" I said warmly after shooting Karyn another look. She managed to get her giggling under control as the two boys eyed us curiously, wondering what they'd missed.

"So, where do you girls want to study?" Mark asked, smiling back at me. I found myself smiling back reflexively before I made myself calm down a bit and act more serious. What was wrong with me tonight?

"I guess down here is fine for now." I said, unslinging my books. Karyn nodded in agreement. "What subject do you guys want to start with.?"

"How about math?" Mark replied, making a bit of a face. "I really screwed up my last test. Last I checked 'F' didn't stand for 'Fantastic.'"

Karyn and I giggled and Mark grinned. I shrugged back and nodde. "Okay then, math it is."

A few moments later, all four of us were seated on the couch on opposite sides of a big coffee table, out books spread out before us. Karyn and Zach sat next to each other across the table, and Mark and I were side by side, set up so the guys and girls faced each other across the table.

I wiggled around for a moment, unable to get comfortable. After a second or two, without even realizing I was doing it, I shifted back to a leopardess. Mark seemed a bit surprised by my sudden change next to him. I blushed a bit in embarrassment, though it was hard to tell under my fur.

"Um. . Sorry about that.. I just feel a bit more comfortable like this tonight." I said, smiling sheepishly. Why HAD I done that anyway? Was it just because it was a full moon tonight? Or was it because or Mark's wish? Either way, I DID feel more comfortable like this at the moment. This was way weird.

"Um, no problem." Mark said, smiling back. "You um Look good like that." He said. His eyes slid from my face after a moment, moving downwards before he forced them back up, smiling a bit sheepishly himself, trying to act like nothing happened.

I blushed a bit more, looking away as Mark did the same. Across from us, Zach and Karyn giggled and laughed softly in amusement. I took a moment to get my tail in a more comfortable position behind me, trying to retain my dignity.

"Um.. So.. I guess we better get started " I said finally, heart thudding a bit. I really did feel quite odd tonight, rather giddy. I hoped it was just the moon
