Karyn looked at the new Jon a little more, then frowned. Jon looked like, well, a TV starlet now, even in the ill-fitting t-shirt and jeans. Karyn felt an irrational pang of jealousy. "Are you sure you want to look so attractive? You're going to have every boy in the school going after you!"
Jon looked at herself. "You might be right." Suddenly he didn't want to look too sexy or attractive, just nice. He felt his face tingle a little and then faint tingles along his body as minor changes happened. "Hey, wait a minute -- what makes you think I'm going to school like this?"
"Because you don't want to be a guy right now?" Karyn suggested innocently.
"That's your fault!" Jon exclaimed. "Come on, Karyn."
"What's so bad about being a girl? Try it, maybe you'll like it."
"Karyn, give me back the stone at least."
Karyn rolled her eyes, pulled the box out, then grabbed the stone to make a wish.
