It was Xenia, one of my sister Zoe's friends. I had always thought she was cute, and even though I wasn't a goth myself, I did have a thing for cute goth chicks, and Xenia definitely was a cute goth chick.
"Hi?" I said, wrong footed.
"Hey babe," she smiled, giving me a kiss, "Wanna catch a meal after school?"
"Err," I said , off guard. Apparently the stone had made some retroactive changes; I was confident in speaking to girls now because it had developed naturally over time, and at some point between then and now I'd found the courage to act on my crush and it had paid off; Xenia was now my girlfriend!
