Sandra considered for a long moment, then sat down on the bed.
"I wish... Ugh, I don't know what to wish for. I'm kind of afraid to make any more wishes. What would you wish for?" she asked.
"I don't know," I said. "I wish I could undo these wishes."
"Sounds good," Sandra said, "I wish I could undo wishes."
Nothing happened. I shrugged.
"Shoulda figured that would be too easy," she said. She thought for a few minutes, then a look crossed her face.
"I wish I had an IQ of 180," she said. The stone flashed and Sandra seemed to zone out for a moment before shaking her head. She turned back to me.
"Okay, I think I have a way out of this. Because the absolute is such an absolute, and allows for no conditions, it actually inadvertantly forces conditions upon itself. Logically, all we have to do is narrow the conditions until we're close enough to pre-reversal."
I just blinked. She looked at me, and smiled.
"Wow... I feel really good. It's, like... it's like I just GET it, you know?"
"Not really," I said.
"Well, I think I have a fix for you if you want it. But you have to want it. If you want to stay a girl, tell me."
I thought for a minute, and turned to see my beautiful reflection in the mirror. I missed my old body, but this one was so far unbelievably wonderful. It was a difficult decision.
