The day before his father died

Nick's father and mother seperated when he was very young. When he was 10 his father got drunk and walked out in front of a truck. Some said it was suicide because he never got over Nick's mom. Some said it was just dumb luck.
The world around him melted and reformed. He was standing in Megan's body just outside of a playground where little Nick and Nick's dad were playing on the swings.
Nick remembered this as the last day he ever saw his father alive.
"There must be a way I can save him." Nick thought.....
