The meal was largely uneventful. Jon quietly ate and avoided any speaking with his new voice. Hearing his mother's voice coming from his mouth was not something he wanted to face at the moment.
"Jon honey, we'll try to find a way to fix this in the morning," Sherry said, as she looked across the table at Jon, who slowly ate with his head facing down. His long hair cascaded down into the food. Jon made no attempt to remove the hair out of the way, as he tried to ignore it completely.
Later in the evening, Jon sat alone in his room after much comforting from his mother. He had tried to watch television, but found himself now uninterested in the usual action movies and other male-oriented programming. Other programs, like chick flicks and infomercials of female products, drew his attention, but he quickly realized what was happening and turned off the TV. Instead, Jon found comfort in reading a book, something which he had not done in months. Reading calmed his emotions, and the story took him away from reality just long enough to find some comfort.
As Jon was undressing for bed, he made a startling discovery. His boxers, formerly red with a plaid design, had turned pink! With a closer inspection, he found that the material had literally transformed into more of a silky texture and hugged tighter to his body. Other than the material and color, the boxers were still male in design and even retained the opening in front of his crotch. Opening his underwear drawer, Jon found many similar boxers, as well as briefs that had also changed color and texture. Even some briefs were now lined with lacy designs. Jon gulped at this fact, but was relieved to not find any bras. However, he knew he may discover some in the drawer in the next day or two.
Jon stood nude in front of the mirror, admiring the changes. Sure the hair could be cut, but why bother? That change was timid compared to what surely lay ahead. His whole body looked smaller and more slender, though still retained the male features. Looking towards his crotch, he noticed that his pubic hair had changed into a more feminine style. Dark brown hair remained above his penis, now in a 'V' shape. Inspecting closer, Jon found that no hair remained around his testicles.
Jon had had enough with his image, and climbed into the bed nude. Tears began to well up in his eyes as he wondered what he would find in the morning.
