"What the hell just happened?" Jons mom asked herself. "I wished...and the wish came true?" She looked at the stone.
"Maybe, yes, let's try. I wish that I knew what just happened."
And then she knew. The stone had granted her wish. She was still a wife and mother, though. The stone had made it all happen through creating a rare disease that actually made people younger. Even if her body was young again, she still had the responsibilities and life of a grown woman.
"No," she thought. "I don't want this. I'm young again, but I want to be young and carefree." She looked at the stone and started thinking, trying to formulate a good wish.
Meanwhile, Jon had noticed that he had forgotten his wallet, and turned back home. He was just about to enter his room when he heard his mother mutter to herself.
"I wish that I wasn't the mother of this family, but that somebody else was, and that I was this young not because of some disease but because I was one of the children in it."
