Jon's mom had decided to head over to the mall, in order to buy clothes that better suited her new age. She had a credit card, a bank account, and no worries.

Jon and Karyn had gone to the mall after school just to chill. Karyn had been gone to the bathroom and while she was in there Jon began to wander around and look in the windows.
His eyes were focused in the stores and he didn't see the young woman coming out of a clothing store. The two of them collided and they both fell to the ground.
The two began to apologize to each other and pick up the spilled bag of clothes when their eyes finally met.
Jon paused, he was looking at a very attractive girl with mid-length brown hair. She was wearing a blue and white tube top, a pair of rose colored sunglasses, a baggy leather hat, a pair of hip huggers with a heart in rinstones on the leg and black leather boots with thick heels. She had bright blue eyes and those eyes were focused on him with a look of intense affection.
The girl blushed and she looked away, then she looked back at Jon with a shy smile.
"Like, hey man, um... Like, you know... uh... hi." She stamered, "My name's Crystal, like what's your's man?"
"Uh... Jon. Jon Gibson."
"Groovy, so like, do you... you know come here often?" She asked and blushed hard.
After a while Karyn came out of the bathroom to see Jon and a strange girl chatting animatedly on a bench. When Jon caught sight of Karyn he waved excitedly and ran over to her.
"Karyn this is Crystal, I just ran into her, literally! She's so funny and she and I are totally into the same things, I've never met a girl like this! Even though we just met I feel like I've known her my whole life!"
Crystal bounced up and gave Karyn a big hug.
"How's it hangin' soul sister? Keeping chill?" Crystal bubbled.
Karyn couldn't help but laugh.
Of coarse neither Jon or Karyn could know that Crystal Freely was really Jon's mom, and aside from a faint thought that Jon would make a good name for a son if she ever had one, Crystal didn't relise it either.
