"Because your boyfriend is waiting for you to go on your date."
"Oh, yeah. I had forgotten about him being here. Don't tell him that. Guys have such fragile egos." Bethany said as she primped in the mirror.
"Wish me luck." Bethany said, once she was satisfied with her looks.
"I wish you luck." Karyn said without thinking.
It wasn't until after Bethany had left that Karyn noticed she was still holding the wishing rock. 'I wonder how much luck Bethany is going to have tonight.'
