Entering the apartment

Nick entered the apartment and looked around, his room mate Ross was apparently out.
Nick pulled out the amulet and the Medallion and sat them on the kitchen table with their relative instructions. He pulled out the card from the magic shop and decided to call since the fiasco must surely be resolved by now.
He dialed the phone and began to explain the situation to the proprietor.
"Well, it sounds like you've only got a few hours before you change back. Just keep it close to you and change back in the morning. Medallions like that have a mind of their own it seems. They have a way of finding their way from person to person on their own. You'll be fine I'm sure."
Nick thanked him for the advice and hung up.
Nick grabbed the medallion and went to his bedroom to sleep.
A little while later Ross walked in and headed to the kitchen to get a drink.
He noticed the amulet on the table and mindlessly opened the parchment. The information seemed so absurd he laughed.
He put on the amulet and looked in the mirror.

Nick stepped out of his bedroom in Megan's body.
Ross saw her.
