Just as he was wondering how things could be any worse, "Hi, Bethany I am Rita Mendoza, with the Daily Post (the town's newspaper). I understand that you are the female lead of this play. I hoped that we can set up a time for me to interview you for the paper. We want to run a Sunday feature on the play and you."
Jon all but froze as the female reporter addressed him.
Alice Anderson, who was standing next to Jon/Bethany noticed his/her fear. "Mrs. Rose," She began in a loud voice so Mrs. Rose would hear her, "can help you with information about the play. I am not sure how much we students are allowed to talk with the press about the play. Do you know Bethany?" She finished, elbowing Jon/Bethany in his/her side.
