Jon awoke the next morning eager to see more changes and in his family. He took a quick shower and got dressed before hurrying down for breakfast.
"My my, sweetie." His father greeted him with an amused smile. "Someone is in a hurry this morning."
Jon just shrugged his shoulders. "Just in a good mood today." Jon helped himself to some cereal and smiled to himself as he sat down. He had already noticed the first new change this morning.
His dad was wearing makeup. When Roger had smiled at him Jon had noticed that his father's lips were painted a deep red, the same shade that his mom usually wore. Speaking of which,
"Where's mom?" Jon asked.
"Oh she had to leave for work early." Roger told him. "They moved her morning meeting up."
"So they've swapped jobs already then?" Jon wondered to himself. He was about to ask his dad about work when he was interrupted by the arrival of his little brother who had changed quite a bit since last night.
