"Mom? What the hell are you doing? Spying on the neighbors again?" Jon's sister, Zoe, yelled at her mom. Zoe was a year younger than Jon, and your typical "punk rock" teenager still slightly repressed by her parents, who were sometimes horrified by her appearance.
"Mom!" Zoe began to whine, "Jon was supposed to drive me to the mall with him and now he says he's not going to take me!"
"I never said anything like that!" Jon yelled from downstairs. "You're such a pain to take anywhere!"
"No I'm not!"
"Shut Up, Zoe!"
Their mother listened on in frustration. "Boy," she said, "I wish those two would have to walk a mile in each other's shoes..."
