The girl in the car with her, that looked like a female Oriental Jon, said "Mom, if you could only hear me, could you put down that stone already?"
"Wait a minute" said Jon, "you can't know that. And who are you anyway? I was the only one in this car."
"Sorry, miss" said the girl, "I have to get home quickly before Mom does something worse. Tell you what, I'll drop you off wherever you want later, okay? I can't explain it, you'd never believe it!"
"You're not going to tell me your name is Jon and your mom has your wishing stone, are you?"
The Oriental girl looked at her in astonishment. "Nobody's supposed to know about that. Wait. You must be Karyn. She's the only other person who'd know about the stone."
"I'm not Karyn!" yelled Jon. "I'm Jon!"
"No, I'm Jon!"
And at that point the Oriental girl rounded the corner and they were within sight of Jon's house. Suddenly there was another transformation. It was very mild--it only gave Jon a skirt, the Oriental girl pants, and lengthened the hair of both by six inches--but Jon knew she was still not safe.
The girl parked the car and ran right into Jon's house. She even had her own key, which she used on the front door. It looked just like Jon's own.
Jon entered right behind the Oriental girl. Inside was Jon's mother, sitting on the couch, looking through one of Jon's magazines, and holding the stone in her hand. The other magazines were open to various pages. One showed the picture of Petra Veriak, and another had a girl with long red hair. There was a cartoon showing a man with an impossibly large penis, and a photo of two naked girls together--one not 13, but otherwise looking like her own body, and another who resembled the Oriental girl, but less Jon-like.
"Hello Jon. Jons," she said. "I found your stone, and I found your magazines. I put the stone back but I changed my mind. Do you realize now that big breasts , and she-males, and two girls being with each other, and even big male parts aren't all they're cracked up to be?"
The Oriental girl seemed ready enough to start a fight. She grabbed for Jon's mother's hand, but Jon's mother ended it all with a few words. "I wish you'll trip on your heels."
She didn't point to a magazine, but the stone must have known what she meant. All of a sudden the Oriental Jon had two black three-inch heeled shoes on her feet, just like the ones in yet another picture. She tripped, let go of the hand, and fell down. At least she only got the heels from the picture and nothing else--otherwise she'd have been naked.
"Come on, Mom," said Jon. "Give me the stone, please. It's mine. I inherited it! And you taught me not to steal. You're stealing it."
"If you insist," said his mother, "but on one condition."
"What?" said both girls almost at once.
"First, the magazines go. I wish those magazines all vanish! Second, you stay like that for a little while. I wish that you'll only be able to change small things about yourself with that stone but never be other than the daughters of mine you are now! And I wish that you'll pick girl names tonight and everyone will know you as those names."
She tossed the stone to the girls. Both grabbed for it, while she walked away.
Jon (the 13 year old) caught it. The Oriental girl reached for it, but Jon pushed her away. "I have to see what that meant."
"I need to change back!"
"I'll let you have it later. Umm... I wish that if I change myself in the next hour it'll wear off when I say 'stop testing'. I wish I was taller." She saw the rest of the room seem to settle down by an inch.
"I wish I was age 17." Her body grew. "I wish I wasn't a she-male." She felt a tingling in her crotch and her panties no longer pinched her. "I wish I was a regular male." Nothing. "I wish I had curly hair." That worked. "I wish I looked like Mom." Nothing happened. "I wish I swapped bodies with the other girl over there."
The Oriental girl--or more precisely, the half-Oriental girl--yelled "Hey!" but nothing happened.
Jon sighed, while the Oriental girl watched him. "Stop testing," she said, and became a 13 year old she-male again.
"I wish Mom forgot about the stone," said Jon. Jon could sense the usual feeling of having to look away--at least she knew that wish worked. "Whew. She forgot to protect herself."
The Oriental girl said, "I'm not surprised. She doesn't know how to use it. Shit, did you hear how she screwed that up? She said we'd be changed for a little while, but her wish...."
"I wish I had my magazines back." The magazines didn't appear, but by now Jon had some idea how the stone worked. "I mean, I wish that when my Mom made the magazines vanish, they just vanished from the couch then and appeared here now."
The magazines reappeared, and Jon felt a little relieved. But only a little.
"Now," she said to the Oriental Jon, "what do... we... do?"
