Alex escorted Linda out of the bedroom and out into the hallways. They made their way quietly down the hall before Linda asked him a question, "So, have you seen my daughter or her friend?"
He shook his head, and rubbed the bridge of his nose, "No, the only person I have met is a young man, who .... well he seems to be in the tendrils of the maniac who tried to change you."
Linda was quiet a moment and looked around the hall, and bite her lip, "This place feels so.... familiar. It is like I remember being here with my... with my... son?" She bite her lip a moment more before she suddenly stopped.
Alex paused and turned towards her, "Are you okay? We have to get out of here and report this to the police."
Linda looked back down the hall a moment, and turned towards Alex when suddenly Alex felt a dizziness come over him, the hallways seemed to loose focus a moment, and then suddenly Linda was... gone.
But the thing that confused him the most was, didn't he think she was with him. Was she? He tried to piece all the thoughts together, and as he did he started to convince himself that maybe he had left her in the bedroom, and that she hadn't been with him.
Little did he know that the magic of the rock had suddenly been used, and because he hadn't heard the wish his mind was quickly rewritten to make Linda being there with him not possible, since people didn't just disappear like that.
He shook his head. "I'm going insane." He muttered and looked around, "Fuck this please is just getting the best of me. I need to help out, but I can't do that by staying here." And with that he started down the hall towards the main club area again.
