Alex first searched the drawers in Louie's bedroom, then moved onto other hiding places, with no luck. But that was because the stone wasn't there. Louie had it with him. But Alex didn't know that, so he continued searching the room.
And that's when he heard a noise coming from the closet. He paused and listened to what it might be. Then he carefully opened the closet door.
Inside was a middle-aged woman sitting on the floor, all tied up and gagged. Alex removed the gag.
"Who are you?" he asked her.
"Linda Parker," she answered. "I don't know how I got here, but ... this place ... it seems so familiar. Like something from a dream. I was at home asleep, then suddenly I was here at this club." It was just a distant memory for her, being the stripper Mimi Goodhead, thanks to a wish that Jon made. She still remembered it, but it was a repressed memory and felt like something from a dream. "I saw this really sleazy man and he tried to do something to me. When he apparently couldn't, he made a wish and suddenly my daughter Zoe and her friend Athena were there in the room. And then that man ... he changed them! He turned them into ... into ..." She began to cry.
Alex was bewildered to say the least. Did this Linda woman say that Louie wished for something and it happened? What exactly was going on around here?
Shaking his head, Alex figured he would just figure this all out later. Right now, he had a damsel in distress to save. He quickly untied the woman and led her out of the bedroom, making sure no one saw them. Not only was this Louie piece of shit making his girls do whatever he wanted, he was also in the kidnapping business. Alex had to get out of there and get the police involved. Jon told him it was a bad idea, but he really saw no other choice.
