"I wish that your name really is Sarah Jane Tanner."
"Wait! That's your wish?!"
The stone glowed and the wish was granted.
"Sarah?" Karyn asked.
"Yes? What?" Sarah (who used to be called Jon) said.
"Just checking."
"Just checking what?"
"To see what your name is."
"My name's Sarah Tanner. Isn't it?"
"Yes," Karyn lied. She thought it would be better this way. Jon's mother wished that if Jon tried to tell anyone who he really was, then he's have to say Sarah, and not Jon. Since Jon, as a girl, thought that her name was Sarah, the wish that Jon's mother made would only have her say the same name. Plus, how many girls are there with the name Jon?
"What are we gonna do about my mom, then?"
"I've got an idea about that, too." Karyn held the stone in her hand and said "I wish ..."
