"Excuse me, ladies." Confidently, Sarah strode across the room, garnering all of JC's attention as she both wondered what her former tormentor would do and couldn't help but watch her long, sexy legs in motion.
Sarah, however, was all business, politely smiling at the distressed Karyn and Jon's mother before ushering the younger instructor away for a hushed sidebar with herself and JC.
"What the hell, Cindy?! How could you lose an entire kid in this place?!"
The embattled Cindy was clearly in full-on panic mode. "That's the thing, Sarah: I don't even have a girl named 'CJ' in my class! Those two are positive that she's here though; I thought maybe they meant JC, but they obviously don't know her, and I didn't know what to do, and I just--"
Sarah cut her off. "--decided to parade them around the entire studio? Jesus, Cindy..." Pinching the bridge of her nose, Sarah was clearly preparing to right the ship. "Okay, here's what you're going to do..."
JC, however, could barely pay attention to the plan as she mentally worked out the situation: because she'd wished to become JC while alone, CJ ceased to exist to the rest of the world. Because she'd then wished for Karyn and Mom to remember CJ, now they were the only three people who did, and poor Cindy was clueless about her supposedly "missing" student. But what to do? Could another long-distance wish help, or would it just muddy the water? And how would it affect Sarah's plan, whatever that would be?
