"But that doesn't mean you can do anything you want to. I want my daughter to become an independent woman who can take care of herself, but still be feminine. So I want you to at least TRY ballet before you decide that you don't like it."
Cee-Jay sat back and crossed her arms, "How much trying would I have to do?"
"I think you should go to four classes and watch two recitals."
"What if I don't like ballet after that?"
"You can decide what activity you want to take up." Mom said. Could CJ have worked her mom down that far?
"Wait. Between ballet and whatever else . . ." CJ began,
"IF you don't like ballet," her mother reminded.
"Right, whatever. That's going to take at least a month of being CJ. AND you said you wanted me to grow into a strong and independent woman. So, mom, I have to ask: do you even intend to turn me back into Jon?"
