Karyn knew she was still a single mother, so how was she going to get out of this one?

Then Karyn said "If I have a child, where is she, or he?"
Jane didn't know. "How do you know that you don't have more than one child?"
Karyn hadn't thought of that. She didn't know how to raise children. Having one child was already too big a task for her. But to have more than one?
"Maybe the stone can tell us where your children are," Jane suggested.
"Child, you mean."
