Hi everyone,
You may have noticed a new story pop up on the main page today. This page is FB3's new story for the first time in 15 years, "The Drafting Board".
Now it's blank, why do you think that is?
I'll tell you.
The intention of The Drafting board is for people to start new independent interactives here and gauge how popular they are. Instead of us posting a bunch of individual new stories and end up clogging the main page as you can see with "The Future of Gaming", the mod team have decided the best approach is to create the stories in a single umbrella environment and determine how popular the stories are. If they hit a certain submission threshold, then they'll be promoted to their own independent stories, if they don't, they'll stay in the Drafting Board same as any other branch of the more popular stories we host.
Eventually we will try to move branches from "And Now For Something Completely Different" across from YAWYW to this page too, if they don't involve the main story crew. So think of The Drafting Board as a much more visible version of this.
No Jon, No Karyn, no VR headset or Medallion of Zulo. The sky is the limit.
