"Fix this!" yelled one of the sandwiches. "I don't wanna be a sandwich!"
Of course, Jon had not just wished that they be ten, Jon had wished that they think and act like ten year old girls. The wish that made them sandwiches could not reverse the wish that they think and act like ten year old girls, so they were sandwiches that thought and acted like ten year old girls. Not only that, the two sandwiches were best friends with each other, since Jon's wish could not reverse that wish either.
"Fine, I'll fix you," said Jon. He did, in fact, have an idea. "I wish we have a transporter system like that used on Star Trek, and that they are sandwiches because the transporter messed up their molecular structure. Now I wish I knew how to fix transporters."
Jon put the two sandwiches in the transporter, closed it so the smell wouldn't get out, and opened a panel in the side of the transporter. After fiddling with some circuits and restoring their old patterns, he was able to transport Karyn and his mom five feet away and back to normal.
Except they were still ten years old. He might have been able to wish that their age was also caused by the transporter, but that wouldn't work--because they'd still think and act like ten year olds.
