Jon picked up the doll; finding a pull-string on the back. He smiled and pulled the string.
"Why did you do that?" Karyn's voice; sounding rather mechanical - and VERY annoyed.
"You can see and hear me?"
Nothing - until Jon remembered to pull the string.
"Yes I can hear, see, and feel!"
Another pull of the string. "At least let me talk; Jon!"
He smiled; gently holding Karyn.
