As Zoe walked along Main Street, she kept looking at all the people walking around. All were Goths. She was obviously aware that they would be, thanks to her wish, but the magnitude of her wish didn't hit her until that moment.
She had changed all these people into Goths. With just one simple sentence. She wondered how far all these changes went, so she decided to make a wish (she thought more about it this time). "I wish to know how much of an area my first wish effected." The stone glowed in her hand.
Then she knew: it was roughly a 300 mile radius. That could have been at least a million people or more. When she said I wish everyone in this area would become a Goth, she meant everyone in her town. But the stone interpreted her words as meaning in this region. In other words, all of this state, and the surrounding states.
She looked around at all the people that used to not be Goths, but were now because of the wishing stone. Some were young, some were old, but most were adults. She had never met an adult Goth before, at least not until she saw her mom in her living room. But here there were dozens, maybe even a hundred, walking around. It was just too much to handle.
