About half an hour later, Karyn showed up at Jon's house. She knocked on the door and it was opened by Jon's mother.
"Oh, hi Karyn."
"Is Jon home?"
"I just got home, but I think he might by in his bedroom. Go on up and see him, if you want."
"Okay. Thanks." Karyn ran up the stairs and to Jon's room, except Jon's bedroom door was closed.
When she opened the door, Jon yelled to her. "Who is it?" She stopped.
"It's me, Karyn. What's wrong, Jon?"
"Don't come in here. I don't want you to see me like this."
