Sarah chewed her lip thoughtfully. Lost in thought she didn't here Jon coming back up the stairs or notice him enter the room until she heard the two bottles of coke hit the floor.
"Sarah put that down," said Jon sternly as she looked up, "Please, just put it back where you found it."
"Why?" sneered Sarah, glaring at him "Want to keep it for yourself?"
"What do you-" began Jon, but Sarah cut him off.
"I know it's a wishing stone."
Jon paled and prepared to lunge at her.
"I wish Jon was unable to move until I chose to release him!" Said Sarah quickly. Jon could only stare in horror as he froze in place. Sarah could see the anger and contempt he held for her in his eyes and sneered at him "you think it's easy being me don't you?" She asked "It's not. It takes a lot of manta menace to be Queen Bee, to be the popular one, to stay ahead of the fashion curve, to know just how to manipulate everyone around you." She laughed nervously "I didn't choose it you know? My mom pressured me to be pretty, to be girly when I was little. By the time I was old enough to have thoughts of my own, I was trapped as leader of the pack. I just had to keep it up, I just couldn't let myself go. I had to be the best."
She threw up her arms, rant in full stride. "God you have no idea. You have it so easy being one of the herd, being faceless in the crowd. I just wish, I wish I had it as easy as you!"
Jon's vision blurred and when it cleared what he saw shocked him.
Sarah turned, seeing the shock in his eyes and released him.
"What?" 'she' asked seeing his mouth hanging open. The masculine sound of her voice made her freeze in horror.
"Well you did want it as easy as me," grimaced Jon pointing at a mirror.
Sarah turned and was shocked to see Jon's face staring back at her.
"Guess we're twins now," commented Jon, as shocked by the turn of events as Sarah.
