"Brandon, where did you get this?" he asks as he looks at it as Brandon has it on his lap while he's still playing his video game while being protective of his find.
"It was in a closet in the spare room that I'm sleeping in." he replies as he keeps playing.
Jon wasn't buying it completely though as he knows that the last time he looked in there for something last week, he didn't see anything that looked like that. 'How did I miss his name being on there though?' he thinks to himself. He tried not to think about it, even as he noticed on the game that Brandon slipped up.
"Why'd you make a mistake like that?" Jon asks.
"It felt like something was pinching my feet." Brandon replies and as the both of them glance downwards, and both are stunned at seeing what's going on with Brandon's shoes, the color of them turning white as the tongues fuse with the sides as the now shiny leather material of them starts growing higher up his legs, even a small heel had begun to form on them.
"What's happening with my shoes?" Brandon asks as he suddenly stands up and notices that his height has increased to 4' 2" tall. His own age having climbed up to 12 in the process.
Remembering what had happened with Karyn, Jon was already fearing the worst.
