As Jon woke up the next day, he went looking for the stone, hoping to think that everything he went through the previous day was just a horrible, horrible dream but when he couldn't find it, he sighed to himself, knowing that someone else has it and is doing something to him.
Upon arriving at school, he went to the usual meeting spot where he and Karyn would see each other before heading inside and of course, she's not there anymore. Going inside, he sees one of his loose friends Darren Peters coming up to him. "Hey Jon what's up?" he asks, the two of them walking through the hallways side by side.
"Not much, have you heard anything about Karyn at all?" Jon asks and Darren looks at him with a confused expression on his face which tells Jon all he needs to know is that no one remembers who her being at school. "Never mind." he sputters.
"You doing anything tonight?" Darren asks.
"Nah, just staying at home, my younger cousin Brandon is coming over and my mom wants me to stay home with him." he says with a sigh, knowing that having him around is going to hamper his search for the rock and trying to find who has it.
And as he said that, he happened to pass by Sarah who grinned to herself as she clutched the rock in her hand, already picking her next victim. "Don't worry Jon, I'll take care of that little problem for you." she says already getting her next wish ready.
