Jessi, who is (now) friends with Sarah, remembers Sarah being the one to give her the confidence to ask out her new girlfriend Frankie. So she wants to return the favor, but she didn't know how until she got to class.
She sits next to Karyn like she normally does and talks with her. Telling her about Frankie and about their plans for a date. As Jessi is talking she see's Karyn's I sadden. Thinking it was because she had a date and Karyn didn't, she found a solution.
Grabbing Karyn's hand ask "Are you doing anything today?"
When touching Karyn, Jessi changed her. This happened because in Jessi's subconscious (jon's old thoughts of Karyn) had overridden Sarah's fleeting thoughts. This caused Karyn's red hair to come back but darker, her kindness and sweetness to come more dominant, and her girly side to stay but be darker. This last thing was caused by Jessi who now liked the tough girl look.
The new Karyn answers back in a deeper sexier voice, "Yes I'm going shopping with Sarah. I know we don't like the exact same clothing but I like spending time with her and would be willing to try some of her types of cloths.
Jessi brightens at this, "great, I know she recently broke it off with buffy and she could use someone like you."
Karyn blushes, "oh no Jessi it's not a date."
Jessi quickly replies, "why not you two would be perfect."
Karyn blushes almost as red as her hair, "I guess "
