Sarah watched as Jon walked in and turned around falling to his knees in front of her with his eyes all glazed over. It was kind of creepy at first, then Jon started talking in a monotone voice about the stone. She listened to everything, being surprised when he started telling her about what happened with Karyn. At first she wasn't sure she believed it, but after looking into his eyes she was sure he was telling the truth. 'The bitch did it to herself by accident,' Sarah thought, 'well it will not be the only change she goes through by the time I get to her. But, first I need to have some fun with Jon.' If Jon could see Sarah's face he would have been having nightmares, but he was sleeping peacefully unaware of what was going to change in his life when he woke-up next.
Sarah thought for a moment and then smiled before saying softly enough that Jon would not hear it, "I wish that Jon and Karyn would forget about the stone and that the letter that came with the stone disappears."
Satisfied that Jon would no-longer know about the stone to come after it, Sarah decided to have some fun with Jon before she left. "I wish that anything I say about Jon while I am in this room would become part of Jon's new reality and that all records would reflect these changes," she said with a cruel smile on her face.
"Jon you and your mother just moved into this house a week ago, and everyone else besides me will believe the Gibbins family moved to New York a month ago to find work. But, your sister and brother will have moved in with your mother's fundamentalist cousin in Salt Lake City," that bitch Zoe with love it there.
"You will be starting school Monday of next week as a new Freshman, instead of as a Junior. The reason you moved here is that you were a witness in a government investigation into a dangerous drug/sex-slave cartel and they had to create a new identity for you. This is the third time you have been moved and the government decided that they would have to made radical changes to you and your family to protect them from reprisal."
"Now, lets work on your new you Jon. First your old name will have to go, let's see, I think you need a foreign name." Sarah was lost on what to call Jon, until she remembered a Japanese anime she watched when she was younger. "Jon, you and your mother's last name is now Saotome and your mother's first name is Nodoka and your first name is now Ranko, a fifteen year old girl. No one else in town will think anything is odd about it, but you will remember who you once were, but will not be able to say anything about it. The government doctors will have used experimental surgery, transplants, and drugs to give you a female body and make you and Nodoka as Japanese as possible in appearance. You will both have implanted memories of growing up in Japan and full knowledge of the Japanese language and culture as if you were both natives. This will leave you both thinking and talking with Japanese accents to your understandable English." Sarah stopped for a few minutes to catch her breath before continuing with her fun.
"Oh, we can't forget this part. All of your and your mothers belonging will disappear and be replaced with the belonging that would be expected of a upper middle class Japanese family that has just moved from Japan to the States." Sarah thought she was being generous here as she didn't really dislike Jon's mother and was just having a little fun with Jon, no Ranko. "The government will have set your mother Nodoka up with a sizable bank account and a job teaching Japanese language and culture at your school. Oh, and anything else I have forgotten will be filled in, so that your new identity is as real as possible," Sarah finished with a pleased smile, not knowing what the magic would do with that last open ended sentence.
With that Sarah walked out the door, looking forward to watching Jon deal with the effects of her wishes, and dealing with Karyn next.
