"So what's your plan?" Karyn asked
Jon's now glossy pink lips curled into a smile. "I'm just going to talk to her."
Karyn nearly spit out her soda. "Jon, are you insane? How the hell will that work?"
"Karyn, relax. It's the only way to go. We can't force her to give it back."
"But she stole it from you. What makes you think you can reason with her?"
"Well, I feel like I never really gaver her a chance, you know? So she's popular, is that really so bad?"
"No, what's bad is she's a horrible person."
"Well, frankly, you sound a bit jealous. I'm going to go talk to her after school, and if I can't talk her into giving me the stone back, then I owe you an apology."
Karyn's nervousness was making her lose her apetite. Jon was rarely this headstrong, and he never gave Sarah the benefit of the doubt. She could tell that Sarah was trying to turn Jon against her, and if she argued with Jon on this, she'd be playing right into her plot.
"I guess I can't stop you," Karyn said sheepishly, then added more forcefully, "be careful!"
The bell rang for class. "Don't worry," Jon said as he stood up, which made his breasts jiggle slightly, "It's not like she's wished for anything major." Karyn sighed as Jon walked away. She tried not to watch him go, but a strange clomping noise made her turn back to see Jon making his way out of the cafeteria. A pair of wedge heeled sandals peeked out from the hem of his jeans, identical to the ones Karyn had seen on Sarah that morning.
