Sarah nearly squealed with delight at the power she now possessed, but quickly quieted herself, careful not to raise any suspicion. She heard footsteps coming up the stairs, and spoke quickly.
"I wish I was back at my house in my own bedroom." Sarah felt dizzy, but the disorientation passed quickly. She opened her eyes and saw the familiar surroundings of her own bedroom. She spent a minute just looking at the rock, wondering where it came from. How could something like this actually exist?
But there was no time for that. It was time to have fun. And fun, for some time, had involved tormenting Jon. Sarah knew that Jon more or less despised her. Oh, sure, Jon thought Sarah was hot, like any of the other guys at school. She'd seen the way he looked at her, and she knew how to tease him with her body and her skimpy outfits. But she knew that wouldn't be enough anymore, especially since that bitch Karyn now shared her most useful assets.
Sarah knew why Jon hated her. It was her personality. Vain, selfish, condescending, high-maintenance. The typically altruistic Jon stayed away from those types of people. And that's what suddenly inspired Sarah's wish. Jon just didn't understand her. Didn't understand what things were like for her. There was so much expected of her. Sure, she got whatever she wanted, but it wasn't always easy being queen bee. She would make Jon understand.
"I wish that, when Jon wakes up tomorrow, he will find that everybody is treating him just like they treat me. I wish all of his clothing and possessions would become identical to mine, and only Jon and I would notice anything was different. I also wish that Jon would go straight to bed right now and sleep soundly until his alarm goes off in the morning.

At the same time, Jon was tearing his already messy room apart. He knew exactly what had happened, he just didn't want to believe it. He picked up the phone and was about to dial Karyn, when it suddenly slipped out of his hand. He was suddenly very tired. He sat on his bed, and groggily peeled his clothes off.
He knew he had to get the stone, but he figured it could wait until morning. He was just so tired. As soon as his head hit the pillow, he was out. And he stayed out until he was awakened by an unfamiliar sound...
